The majority of projects that Edward Kraemer & Sons, Inc. (Kraemer) constructs require either permanent piling or temporary shoring. Installation, load-testing and extraction of all types of piling, timber, H-piles, pipe piles or sheet piles, using both traditional and cutting edge construction techniques, are Kraemer’s forte. Whether temporary shoring is necessary for excavation stability, sheet pile is needed for a retaining wall, or foundation piling is required, Kraemer has the personnel and equipment to meet the challenges, regardless of size or complexity.

Kramer maintains a fleet of over 70 cranes and excavators to effectively handle the wide array of vibratory, air, diesel, and hydraulic pile driving equipment that it owns. Pile hammers range in size from a 10,000 lb air hammer to a 70,000 lb diesel hammer capable of producing 75,500 ft lbs of energy. Our vibratory hammers range in size from 53 to180 tons of driving force. Kraemer also owns a hydraulic pile hammer with an energy range of 15,000 to 61,600 ft lbs. In addition, many pieces of specialty equipment, pipe pile clamps, pile spotters, and a pre-bore auger are kept in the fleet for special applications.

Our experienced field personnel, in conjunction with our in-house engineering staff, provide the means, methods, and design to complete challenging projects safely and economically. In addition, Kraemer maintains working relationships with several engineering firms that specialize in complex foundation engineering in the event you need a turn-key operation.

If you have foundation needs, Kraemer has the resources and experience to complete your project on time and on budget.
