Kraemer’s first projects were for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in Milwaukee, WI. Over five decades, Kraemer has used their expertise to construct and rehabilitate rolling bascules, vertical lift bridges, and swing spans throughout the upper Midwest. Kraemer’s client list includes numerous municipalities, highway departments, and railroads. | | | | The talents and skills of Kraemer’s veteran millwrights, ironworkers, and movable bridge crews have also been used to perform machinery installations in dams, hydroelectric facilities, pump stations, foundries, and factories. Installation and start-up of new bascule machinery has provided Kraemer’s front line supervisors and managers with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and structural problems on existing equipment.
